King Kat Sweet 16

KingKat is coming to Clarksville! We are excited to be holding our second annual

Sweet 16 tournament in Clarksville, VA. This kind, 3-day tournament takes the

16 top angler teams from the 2023 season and puts them in a bracket-style event and

crown a national champion from the best anglers in the country. As a trail, KingKat

wants to educate, entertain, and promote conservation. We strive to educate

novice anglers on how to better chase and catch catfish. We want to entertain families.

and avid anglers with tournaments and content that are engaging and exciting, all

while promoting the cities we visit and conserving the waterways that provide homes

to all this wonderful wildlife. Clarksville is an exceptional fit for this tournament and

our vision because of Virginia’s vast outdoor opportunities. With 50,000 acres of fresh

water and 800 miles of amazing shoreline at Buggs Island Lake, Clarksville is a prime

fit for everything KingKat aims to promote for our anglers and their families. We are

thrilled to be adding to this historical tourism spot by adding our Sweet 16 event to
